I have now purchased a number of the BBE Max Grip Medicine Balls now and can honestly say I think they are the best. The leather alternatives are nice if you are gym training only but I use mine whilst working out in the park as well as indoors so the rubber is preferred, the grip on them is excellent. 3Kg is a good starting weight as it allows you to focus on technique.
