I Have No Time

I am sure every single one of you has used more than once this excuse. So old but still so popular. It's true thought that most of us lead very busy lives. That is why we have to keep in mind that exercise can be effective even if we don't spent hours every day working out. Five, 10 or 15 minutes can provide benefits to your health. Time is on your side no matter how much or how little you have -- make it count!

I Have No Equipment

Equipment can certainly enhance your fitness routine and add variety. But don’t let lack of equipment be the reason you don’t exercise. You can get fit with the most high-tech equipment in the world, your own body. Push-ups, wall squats, crunches and dips. Pick a nice route and start running. All you need is commitment and the will to get fit.

I Am Too Tired

Stop using this excuse over and over again. The truth is exercise will increase your energy level. Being tired all the time can be a direct result of inactivity, poor nutrition and lack of water. Exercise will improve your sleeping, thus increase your energy level.

I Don't Know What To Do

Don’t make exercise rocket science. MAKE IT FUN! Ask a friend who knows to give you some direction. If you are not fortunate to have someone, join a gym or hire a personal trainer so that you learn the basics and find out what you like and what you are good at. Rent a fitness dvd, do a little research on the Internet to get tips so that you can enhance your fitness routine.

I Am Too Far Gone

There is rarely a point of no return when it comes to getting back in shape. When you believe you’re too far gone, just practice a little common sense. Take it slow, do it smart and most important, be patient with the process.

I Am Too Old

If you believe you are too old to exercise then you believe you are too old for anything. There are marathon runners in their 70s, i am sure you know that. Of course i am not suggesting you run a marathon but you can start slowly. Begin a walking program, strength-training program or water aerobics to bring new life back into your perceived old life.

It's Too Boring

It doesn't have to be. Vary your exercise program. Anything will become boring when you’re doing the same thing day in and day out. Explore your options. There is so much to do but you’ve got to be willing to do the research and find what you enjoy.

I'm Not Athletic

Exercise and don’t compete! You do not have to be an athlete in order to be active or begin an exercise program. Putting one step in front of the other requires little athletic ability. Walking, biking and swimming do not require excellence in form, so relieve yourself of the pressure of feeling like you have to perform. Just find what you enjoy and do it!
