- Whey Protein Concentrate and Isolate as the primary ingredients.
- Instant Whey Deluxe contains whey protein concentrate and isolate as the main source of protein; arguably the most expensive and purest forms of protein available, other brands may contain inferior sources of protein like soy or pea. Reflex Instant Whey Deluxe also contains our totally exclusive Muscle Drive peptide complex.
- Peptide Bonded Glutamine
- Instant Whey Deluxe contains Peptide bonded glutamine which is utilised more effectively by the body than standard free form L-Glutamine, thus helping recovery after strenuous exercise.
- Important note: Reflex don't add L-Glutamine, please don't confuse the two. L-Glutamine is not a very stable amino acid, whilst its absolutely fine by itself i.e our pure L-Glutamine powder, its not a good idea to combine it with whey protein - it can degrade into ammonia and in the presence of other proteins your body will find it difficult to absorb.

Does what it says on the tin. Top quality ingredients which few others can compare with. Better value than most also. And with the probiotics used in this it helps my bowel movements very well indeed! So far I have tried the Strawberry, Chocolate, and Vanilla and my personal favourite has been the Strawberry. Mixability is pretty good, however with all mass gainers none will ever be 100% mixable due to the large amounts of powder you have to use.

Quite impressed by this product, as with all Reflex products the ingredients are of the highest quality and it tastes lovely. However, by the time you I finished mixing this in my shaker it turns to 95% froth and 5% liquid(???), not sure what that's about.

This is the best whey I have tasted! It isn't the greatest when it comes to mixing but the lumps are quite nice!
Effectiveness, well, I'm a girl, a vegetarian, and go in the gym to lift weights every other day. As part of a veggie diet, it's essential, and I believe it's helping me with the muscle repair but I'm not bulking up, or anything! That's not what I take it for!
So purely for taste, I recommend this 100%

Great profile, great value. Taste is pretty good in water, but nothing that'll blow you away. Expected a little more in terms of taste (chocolate) but have to say it goes down easier than any shake i've tried before. No bloat no discomfort. Mixability is not that great though. It does mix entirely but needs some serious shaking. Buying this again because i trust reflex. You can find better tasting, but in terms of results you'd be hard pressed!

A really nice chocolate flavour protein. Makes an excellent snack or breakfast if you're on the run. Can be used as part of a low carb diet too. Would recommend.

I bought this whey protein based on excellent reviews i'd read on various websites. It mixes well enough, with just a few small clumps left after mixing with an electric whisk. Reflex make huge claims about how great whey deluxe tastes but i can't really see what all the fuss is about - it tastes ok, but not amazing - mix with milk for best taste. I also cycle a lot and use High 5 chocolate protein recovery shake and this tastes a LOT better although this could be down to the fact it has more sugar in it. I have put on muscle mass using this, so would definitely recommend, especially at the great price here on dolphin.
Quite tasty, good value, decent stuff.

I will give pretty much any protein shake 5 stars for effectiveness as long as they don't make me poo through the eye of a needle. This protein mixes up thick and is quite tasty. Banoffee flavour is too sickly for me, very sweet and it has these little bit of what look like sugar granules that never really dissolve and leave your shaker dead sticky so you have a bitty shake and a sticky shaker. Also the sweetener leaves a distinctive aftertaste - like you've just chewed a sweetener tablet on its own. Still it is much better than 90+, Maximuscle and MP True Whey. The chocolate tastes very chocolatey and is thick but unfortunately it is spoilt again by the strong sweetener aftertaste. However if you mix it with milk it tastes like proper posh, thick lovely chocolate shake, no dodgy after taste - queer?
So in summary;
Has quality ingredients, does not upset my stomach or poo system
Tastes good, but not perfect
Chocolate mixes well, banoffee does not
Does what all other whey proteins do with a better but very sweet taste.
Worth a punt if you have a sweet tooth and want to enjoy your protein supplementation.

I've used various other products that claim they do 'this and that' but Reflex Istnant Whey Deluxe is by far the most reliable and effective product I have used. It's easily the best tasting protein shake I've had (mine is banoffee).
Having used the original Instant whey for a quite a while I knew they could only get better!
You have to shake it for a while to mix it up but that is the only negative I can find, and that's only because I'm nit picking, and it's a small price to pay when you end up with an awesome tasting thick shake. It's like a slice of banoffee pie in my shaker when I finish my session!!

Best taken with milk although ok with water. These are by far the best tasting shakes i've had. Great for recovery after a high-impact routine or just a sugar free snack!
