Usually i am very sceptical about a pill that promises everything. But I have to say that I have been very impressed with Nexgen. It isn't a miracle pill but what it does deliver is an all round hit of good quality vitamins and minerals. The only evidence I can quote is that I haven't caught any of the colds going around the office. I am feeling more perky than usual this time of the year.

Excellent bio-available multi-vitamin/mineral using the highest quality ingredients. Reasonably priced and in capsule form so no horrible Sterate getting in the way of absorption.

I was also worried about the Iron content, but looking at the bottle, it states 5mg of iron per 3 capsules, not the 14mg as stated in the description on this page.

Would be perfect without the iron. I don't really understand why it's containing it at all. It's far more dangerous to have iron excess than deficiency. Your body is able to store it but in case of excess it's not able to get rid of it, so it gets stored in your liver, in your heart, brain etc. where it does damage.
Not to mention that almost everything you eat contains iron and you loose just very little of it during the day through your hair, finger nails (slightly more for women during the cycle) etc.
Overall quality is excellent, just be cautious of iron (for men's consideration)

I have taken this for a couple of months now and I am cautious of a particular ingredient. Iron. For men, according to my nutritionist, GP and research, iron is not something we need to add on as much on top of our normal healthy diet. I do like most of the other ingredients and would like to take the recommended 3 capsules per day but our body does not necessarily excrete iron like vitamin C. Hence, I am concerned about the cumulative effects of iron overdose. It's a shame that I need to take less (one capsule a day) as what I deemed other ingredients, from Reflex, as stellar/quality stuff at their optimum levels (three caps a day). If only it was titrated down or made more men specific or female specific. I now take other multi-vits instead. As a result, it is four start for me.
