Science in Sport (SiS) Rego Recovery has been specially formulated to improve recovery from exercise, by helping you re-fuel, re-hydrate and repair muscle. Rego Recovery helps by providing the nutrients needed for your body to adapt to exercise and improve, so you can get more from your training and progress faster and further.
Various studies have shown a positive effect on protein building and carbohydrate energy stores when a carbohydrate-protein drink like Rego is taken immediately after exercise compared to taking it one or more hours later.
Studies give some good evidence that Rego Recovery cannot only replenish your carbohydrate energy stores and start rebuilding your muscles immediately after training but also help your immune system to recover from exercise, especially when you take it immediately after your training sessions. Taking Rego Recovery immediately after exercise brought white blood cell function quickly back to normal levels, and so reduces the risk of getting an infection.
Good advice, therefore, is to make sure you pre-mix your Rego Recovery before your session. You can keep it in the fridge, which also chills your drink making it nice and refreshing.

Easy to take and tasty

I'm currently training for my first ultra-marathon and the nutritional side of life is a big part of the training programme. I started taking SiS Rego Recovery after advice from my nutritionist and I am certainly feeling the difference, especially after back-to-back long training runs. It is easy to mix and tastes good, but more importantly it appears to help with recovery, for example any DOMS I might experience after a 35 mile weekend are minimal and very manageable. Couple that with a Monday rest day and I am back into training on the Tuesday. As I say, it is easy to mix and tastes good and another bonus is that you can make it up in advance of training and unlike some shakes SiS Rego does not settle at the bottom of the bottle. I highly recommend this if you are training for endurance.

I tried a sample of this and really liked it. The flavour is pleasant and it's easy to drink. I find it helps to reduce that strong feeling of fatigue after a long bike ride or training session. It also appears to eliminate aches and pains. This size of pack is easy to use.

Fantastic product and price, this really helps with post exercise recovery. I have noticed a marked improvement as a result of drinking this supplement. I cannot recommend it enough!

I'm still not fully convinced by 'recovery drinks' as even if I take them during or immediately after exercise the muscle ache can often continue for 3 to 4 days following an intense workout. With this in mind I don't want to spend too much on a recovery drink so SiS Rego Recovery fits the bill perfectly! I've recently tried other products but will be returning to SiS when I need to top up as it mixes well and tastes good.

SiS Rego Recovery does a great job when used straight after exercise, I have felt less pain and cramps and feel generally better since using it.

Never tried recovery drinks before but found commuting 5 days a week, 30 miles a day, my legs where getting tired by Friday and I was always hungry mid mornings. Found this drink to both suppress the hunger but also my legs and energy levels feel much better at the end of the week. Banana flavour is excellent and will be buying again.
A Recovey Aid that works

SiS Rego Recovery works for me. I'm what is called 'of advanced age' and used to 'lock up' after driving home following a couple of hours of play. The recovery drink definitely helps me climb out of the car when I get home and also cuts down aches and pains in my legs.
My son-in-law (who is very active) recommended the drink to me and I've just received my third 1.8 kg bottle of the powder -- surely that's the best recommendation!

I am a trail runner and use this product after most strenuous runs (strawberry version). It's got a great taste and none of the foamy / gritty issues I have experienced with other drinks. It certainly helped eliminate 'the day after' tired muscles for me. Recently I've taken to mixing it up in a blender with soft fruit. Kiwi being my current favourite. Could not recommend higher. New bottle shape on latest order, same great product.

We call this the magic pixie drink because it magically makes us feel good after a workout. It tends to reduce the amount of aches and pains too. AND it's yummy so feels like a treat! What more could you ask for??
