One of the key features of York Equipe Treadmill is the built in Proximity Sensor, unique to this particular York treadmill model.
York Fitness Proximity Sensor
This is perfect for any families with children. The Proximity Sensor acts as an invisible barrier which detects and alerts you when any objects are within the safety zone. If the safety zone barrier is broken the console light will flash and a beeping sound will occur. As the object gets closer to the treadmill, the beeping and flashing will get faster to alert the user.
